Anna was a very special girl with an incredibly kind heart. Her "Anna's Blankets" campaign, which touched the lives of many children at Children's Hospital, during the Christmas seasons while she was sick, was just one example of her generous heart. In memory of Anna, who passed away March 11th, 2003 after a 2 year battle with a brain tumor. Last year we celebrated her life with the first annual "Anna Pedersen Memorial Family Fun Festival" a kickoff to "Anna's Blankets". It was a wonderful success!
Last year, the second annual "Anna Pedersen Memorial Family Fun Festival" was be sponsored by the Creek Community Church and took place at the Maple Grove Community Center on Sunday, October 24th from 3pm to 7pm. All proceeds from the event went to "Anna's Blankets" and to the Children's Hospital Oncology Clinic to support the fight against childhood cancer. Thank you for your generous support.
THE SECOND ANNUAL ANNA PEDERSEN MEMORIAL FUNFEST WAS ANOTHER WONDERFUL SUCCESS!!
